This paper reviewed the recent progress on the performance appraisal in the national research institute (NRI) at abroad and China, and established the evaluation methods and typical cases applicable in the evaluation and appraise of NRI. Based on the current evaluation policy and typical practices in the country, three representative models of performance appraisal were used to evaluate whether they were applicable in the NRI in China. |
