| 湖北地处我国中部，拥有发展农业的优势资源。湖北省某些农产品出口具有较强优势，但总体出口规模不大。选取净出口额、国际市场占有率、显示性比较优势指数、贸易竞争力指数、出口依存度、出口贡献度等评价国际竞争力的8项指标，以我国农产品出口6省份：山东、广东、浙江、辽宁、福建、江苏和中部6省：湖北、河南、山西、安徽、湖南、江西为样本，采用因子分析法，通过与其他11省的比较，评价湖北省农产品国际竞争力状况，研究结果表明，一方面湖北农产品国际竞争力水平低于山东、福建、辽宁这3个农业大省与强省；另一方面，湖北农产品国际竞争力强于浙江和广东，这两个省份都是我国农产品出口大省；再一方面，湖北农产品国际竞争力强于中部其他5省。由此可见，总体而言湖北省农产品较有较强的国际竞争力，但出口潜力还有待挖掘。针对此问题，提出提升湖北省农产品国际竞争力的建议，如大力发展农产品加工业，增加产品附加值等。 |

| Abstract: |
| Hubei province locates in the center of China and has preponderant resources of developing agriculture.Some agricultural products export has much competitive advantages，but the total volume is not large.This paper selected 8 indexes, i.e.,net export，international market share，revealed comparative advantage index，export dependence，etc., to estimate international competitiveness，and choosing 6 major export provinces of agricultural products and 6 provinces of central parts as the contrast sample, evaluated the international competitiveness of agricultural product in Hubei province.The result showed that，firstly，international competitiveness of agricultural products in Hubei was lower than that of Shandong，Fujian and Liaoning，which were the major and strong export provinces of agricultural products, but was higher than that of Zhejiang，Guangdong，which were also major export provinces of agricultural products. Secondly，international competitiveness of agricultural products in Hubei is higher than other 5 provinces of central parts.Finally，it concluded that the export of agricultural products in Hubei had strong international competitiveness，but the potential was not enough. To this problem，it put forward some suggestions for promoting international competitiveness of agricultural product in Hubei，such as developing processing industry of agricultural product in Hubei to raise the added value of agricultural products. |
