Abstract: |
The recovery and reconstruction of rural families after strong earthquakes is an important part of natural disaster relief in earthquake-prone areas. This paper aims to analyze the recovery of different types of farmer families after the strong earthquake, which is of great significance to guide the post disaster recovery work. Taking the magnitude 6.6 earthquakes in Min county and Zhang county in 2013 as an example, and five towns with epicenter intensity VIII as the survey area, the life resilience and influencing factors of farmers after the earthquake were analyzed by household questionnaire, family recovery rate and multiple Logistic regression models. The results showed that(1)The less severe the family damage, the shorter the recovery time after a strong earthquake. The moderately damaged and severely damaged families would return to a stable state at the 38th and 53rd week of the late recovery period.(2)The resilience of households with diversified livelihoods was significantly higher than that of households with a single livelihood. Among the moderately and severely damaged households, the highest recovery rate and the shortest recovery time were part-time farmer households (98%, 37 weeks) and non-residential households (98%, 45 weeks).(3)Human capital, financial capital and social capital were significant positive correlation factors affecting farmers' families to shorten the recovery cycle and improve the recovery rate after the earthquake. The research results can provide reference for formulating scientific and reasonable post disaster recovery and reconstruction policies in disaster-prone areas. |
